Biography

Dr. Yvette Saliba completed her Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D) at the University of Central Florida in 2018. Prior to the completion of her terminal degree, she received a master’s degree in 2007 in Mental Health Counseling from Rollins College, located in Winter Park, Florida. She is a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Florida and a NBCC Board Certified Counselor. She has served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Central Florida and Rollins College in their graduate counseling programs. She is presently an Assistant Professor at AdventHealth University in the Health and Biomedical Sciences department. Her research interest includes studying the impact of psychological factors, such as purpose and playfulness, on wellness and aging.
