Biography

Dr. Nadia Edwin is an Assistant Professor of Chemistry in the Department of Health and Biomedical Sciences at AdventHealth University. She earned her B.S. in Chemistry from the University of the Virgin Islands (St. Thomas campus) and her Ph.D. in Chemistry from Louisiana State University. She completed her postdoctoral studies and served as a National Research Council Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Polymers Division at National Institute of Standards and Technology in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Dr. Edwin’s research interest includes nanoparticle-polymer dynamics, colloids, bio-inspired materials, polymer and polyelectrolyte dynamics, nanotechnology, hydrogelation of small molecules as well as characterization techniques such as Fluorescence photobleaching recovery, Light scattering, optical microscopy, and other imaging instruments.
