Biography

Dr. Holly Orozco is an experienced faculty and academic leader, formally serving as Vice Provost for Graduate and Professional Studies, and Dean of the College of Extended Learning at Point Loma Nazarene University; Founding Dean of Public Health, and Dean for the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Phoenix; Dean for the College of Health and Human Services, and College of Education, and Vice Provost for Institutional Effectiveness at Trident University International; Asst. Professor at Cal State Los Angeles, and Research Associate at both Loma Linda University and the University of California, Los Angeles. Additionally, Dr. Orozco’s public health professional experiences include roles such as: Senior Advisor for Substance Abuse Policy in the Arizona Governor’s Office; Prevention Specialist for Orange County (CA); and Health Educator to 14 Native American Tribal Nations within S. Cal. She has also served as Vice Pres. and Pres. Elect on the Board of Directors for both S. Cal. and the AZ. Public Health Association, and Member on the Board of Education for the American Public Health Association. Dr. Orozco earned both her Master and Doctor of Public Health at Loma Linda University.
