Ms. Mumbert is an assistant professor at Adventist University of Health Sciences where she has taught for the past two years. She graduated from Florida Hospital of Health Sciences in 2003 and has worked at Florida Hospital for over nine years. After receiving her certification in adult echocardiography and vascular technology, she went on to become certified in pediatric echocardiography. Ms. Mumbert has also received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the University of Central Florida. She currently is a member of the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (SDMS) and the American Society of Echocardiography (ASE). She continues to support to her profession by serving in the SDMS CME committee, reviewing for the JDMS, and speaking nationally and at local society meetings.
