Professor Moghimi has had a thirty-two year clinical/management career in occupational therapy. She has worked in and managed rehabilitation personnel in a variety of clinical settings including mental health, pediatrics, geriatrics, acute care, low vision and home health, both in Maryland and Florida. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy; a masters in Administrative Science from Johns Hopkins University and a ScD in Occupational Science from Towson University. She served on the Maryland Board of Occupational Therapy Practice as vice-chairperson and chairperson for eight years. She is currently an ACOTE surveyor. She has taught adjunct and part-time in occupational therapy and occupational therapy assistant programs for the past 7 years. She has been a full-time faculty member for two years.
