The healthcare job market is steadily climbing according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, with employment of medical and health services managers expected to rise to 22% between 2010 and 2020, the fastest growth rate among all occupations.
Our Master of Healthcare Administration produces new leaders in the expanding healthcare market with the tools and attitude to sustain professional—and spiritual—growth. Our seasoned faculty teach students how to succeed in the sector's frenetic environment and conceptualize, analyze, and apply vital concepts to multifaceted healthcare administrative issues. We offer all classes in the evening, with one Sunday session per course, to accommodate the working professional desiring to further their career.
Program Mission Statement:
The mission of the Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) at Adventist University of the Health Sciences (ADU) is to prepare the next generation of healthcare leaders within a Christian environment. Our faculty and guest lecturers include senior Florida Hospital and Adventist Health System executives whose teaching and mentoring, in conjunction with our experiential learning opportunities, give students an unparalleled educational experience. The Program’s competencies develop the skills and abilities necessary for healthcare organization leadership. The MHA program is designed for recent graduates and healthcare professionals who see healthcare as ministry.
