The A.S. Radiography Program incorporates 5 consecutive trimesters of clinical education. During the first 2 clinical trimesters, students will attend clinicals on Mondays and Wednesdays. During the third clinical trimester, students will attend clinicals on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. During the last 2 clinical trimesters, students will attend clinicals on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Clinical hours may fall anywhere between 7:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. on each assigned day.

The program utilizes an electronic clinical data management system called Trajecsys©. Students are required to register and pay for Trajecsys prior to starting the clinical component of the program. The cost of Trajecsys is $150, to be paid directly to the company. For more information, visit www.trajecsys.com.

NOTE:

  • Students can expect to drive up to 40 miles from the ADU campus to get to their assigned clinical site. Students must have their own reliable transportation.
  • No preferential treatment is given to the assignment of clinical sites. Accommodations cannot be made based on the students’ address, work schedule, or other personal obligations.
  • In a given trimester, you may be required to rotate to more than 1 clinical site.
  • Student health records must be up-to-date in order to attend clinicals.
  • Specific clinical uniform information can be found in the A.S. Radiography Program Manual.
