We take great pride in the rigor of our curriculum and our students' thirst for success. Setting the bar high in our program admissions requirements helps maintain those standards from the get-go. All are outlined below for you to begin your application.
Part 1: Apply to ADU
To become a student here at ADU, you must first apply to the school itself. We offer processes tailored for every kind of student, whether you're straight out of high school or interested in online learning. Check out your admissions requirements before applying to a specific program.
Part 2: Apply to the Pre-Professional Studies Program
Acceptance into the Pre-Professional degree program is contingent on students meeting the general requirements for admission to Adventist University of Health Sciences and completing all the items on the admissions checklist.
Submit the Pre-Professional Studies Program Application once admitted to the University. The application can be accessed at http://my.adu.edu.
We require a minimum cumulative, unweighted high school GPA of 2.70 or 12 college credits from a regionally accredited college with a 2.70 minimum GPA—a cumulative record of all college-level work.
A minimum ACT composite score of 19 or a minimum combined score of 910 on the SAT is required for consideration. Applicants having 24 or more college-level credits from a regionally accredited college, however, are exempt from this requirement.
