Biography

Dr. Carlo Semerzier was born and raised in Haiti. He received his undergraduate degree (B.S) in Chemistry from the University of Massachusetts (Lowell campus) in 1995, a master’s degree (M.S) in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of Florida in 2014, and a doctorate in education (Ed.D) from Nova Southeastern University in 2020. Professor Semerzier teaches lecture and lab sections of General Chemistry, Principles of Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry lab here at AdventHealth University. He is an experienced research and development Chemist. His research team at Boston Scientific, Natick, Massachusetts successfully developed a drug released coating for stents used in the treatment of coronary artery diseases.
