DNRS345 Information

Based on the CREATION Health acronym, students explore selected nursing philosophies, conceptual models, and theories guiding autonomous practice. The process by which theory is translated into evidence-based practice is studied. Students have opportunities to expand on their exploration of the link between theory, research, and evidence-based practice with an emphasis on theory-based approaches to quality client outcomes. This course includes three credit hours of theory (45 clock hours) and meets the requirements for a written communication course (see Communication Requirements in the Academic Section of the Academic Bulletin).

All prerequisite(s) must be completed with a minimum grade of C (2.00).
